I have a private practice near Rye with clients coming from all over including Ashford, Brighton, Hastings, Tonbridge, Maidstone and London. I am a fully qualified and registered Integrative Arts Psychotherapist and a Relationship Counsellor and have been in private practice for over two decades. I offer a confidential service and a compassionate, creative approach to resolving problems and healing.

As a counsellor and psychotherapist I am experienced in helping people of all ages, children(one of whom did the picture above when she was FEELING BETTER towards the end of therapy-she had come extremely lacking in confidence and school phobic), adolescents, adults, couples and groups with a wide range of problems, such as depression, relationship issues, anger management, abuse, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Some people choose to come for personal development and life choices because this form of psychotherapy is brilliant for personal growth.

The arts provide extra potential for expression and healing. I have been trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education(To visit IATE just CLICK HERE to go straight to it) to work with various media including painting, clay, sandplay, drama, poetry and music. Each art form offers a unique approach and can meet a different need. It is a well-known fact that children find it easier to communicate using the arts and through play, but adults can get a lot out of this too without there being any need to be good at doing them. Thats not the point. This non-judgemental approach is about having time to safely explore and reach a deeper understanding through the use of a symbolic medium. More often than not this leads naturally to healing and a more positive sense of Self.

My therapy practice is located at The Old Dairy,Oxenbridge Farm,Wittersham Road,Iden,East Sussex TN31 7UY,a very beautiful,peaceful location which clients have commented on as being therapeutic in itself! It is 2 miles from the ancient town of Rye which has a railway link to both Brighton and Ashford.
